Procurement Officer
We are seeking a sharp, detail-driven Procurement Officer to anchor our purchasing function in Georgetown. Reporting into senior management, you will own the end-to-end procurement cycle that keeps our offshore project teams supplied with the right materials and equipment, at the right time, at the right cost.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong commercial judgement, excellent supplier-management skills and the discipline to maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation in a fast-moving operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end purchasing — manage sourcing, requests for quotation (RFQs), supplier negotiation and purchase order management through to delivery.
- Supplier relationships — build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, both locally and internationally.
- Operational support — work closely with offshore project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment and consumables.
- Cost & quality control — keep procurement aligned with project budgets, quality standards and the company's local content commitments.
- Records & compliance — maintain accurate purchasing records within the ERP system and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Coordination — liaise across HSE, QA/QC, project management and finance to remove supply constraints and support uninterrupted execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience — proven procurement or supply chain experience; exposure to oil & gas or industrial services is a strong advantage.
- Skills — strong negotiation, organisation and supplier-management skills.
- Commercial — sound commercial judgement and a high level of attention to detail.
- Systems — proficiency with ERP / procurement systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
- Attributes — able to work to deadlines, manage multiple priorities and coordinate across departments.
